FC BOSNIA today managed to overcome a Dewsbury Westside team that is so far unbeated in the league this season. Goals from the young winger Demir Kurtovic and the experienced Haris Niksic saw Bosnia cruise to a 4 - 1 victory on their home ground at Highfields.

Westside, clearly out to get revenge after Bosnia knocked them of out the Wheatly Cup earlier in the season, however their attempts proved unconvincing. They did manage to get one goal, which proved little conselation for what was otherwise a dissapointing display from the league leaders.

Even though the result may seem overwhelming Bosnia thoroughly deserved it. Both teams played most of the second half with 10 men after the ref gave 2 red cards after a spat which involved arms being raised. The passion and pure rivalrly was clear as alwasy between these two.

Bosnias exit from the Wheatley Cup las weekend added that little bit of extra pressure as their season needed to get back on track and todays victory has certainly provided this.
