FC Bosnia vs Saville Youth

Bosnia draw 3 - 3 away to Dewsbuy Old Stars

FC Bosnia today kicked off their 2008/09 season but unfortunatley could only manage a 3 - 3 draw away to the leagues newbies ironically named Dewsbury Old Stars.

With many players missing Bosnia managed to piece together a starting 11 that not only held their own against tough opposition but were unlucky to come away with only a point.

Bosnia took the lead within 20 minutes of the kick off thaks to Sefer Sabahudin who slotted home after a mix up in the box, a lead which they managed to hold on to till half time.

After the restart Bosnia soon added a second through Mesha, who camley tucked it in following hard work down the left from Demir kurtovic and Haris Niksic.

The comfortable lead somewhat relaxed Bosnia and before they knew it Dewsbury Old Stars were level, the first a great long range strike from all of 30 yards. On the attacking foot, Dewsbury soon got a shock third and took the lead for the first time in the game. With moments to go Bosnia's captain came to the rescue and brought the teams level.

A fair result in the end, but Bosnia will see this game as 2 points dropped after having lead for the majority of the game and looking comfortable. Bosnia's next game sees them at home to Black Horse in the Wheatley Cup.
